"The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" is a fairy tale in verse by Russian writer Alexander Pushkin. Pushkin wrote the piece in 1833 and it was first published in a magazine two years later.;It's the story of a fisherman who catches a golden fish, which promises to fulfill any wish of his in exchange for its freedom. The man and his wife subsequently get caught in a struggle based on greed and loss. The moral of the story makes for a great lesson.
In una piccola casetta vicino al mare, vivevano in grande poverta un vecchio e sua moglie. Il vecchio fabbricava reti e pescava. Ma pochi pesci, solo quelli necessari per poter tirare avanti. Un giorno, pero, tirando su la rete, si accorse che era molto pesante. Pensava che fosse piena, invece dentro c'era solo un pesciolino d'oro.
